Notes
How long do French buttery pecans keep for?
Butter pecans will keep for 6–8 months when stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator or a year in the freezer. At room temperature, they’re best enjoyed within 1–2 weeks. Because these buttery roasted pecans are coated in butter, they can spoil more quickly than plain pecans. When in doubt, store your butter pecans in the refrigerator to keep them fresh and flavorful for longer.
